Tech and Innovation in the Gun Violence Prevention Space
Our Everytown Labs team is keeping abreast of the latest developments in technology, innovation, and AI that may impact gun violence prevention. Technology can play a role in helping us understand which policies and programs are most effective in making guns safer, storing them more securely, keeping them out of the hands of prohibited persons, identifying potential gun violence threats, and much more. Some of these innovations may be early stage and unproven, some may have downsides that need to be addressed, and some may be bad ideas altogether, but examining them all is a critical part of our mission.
